About Jason Williams
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors of Architecture in 1997. I recently founded Phoenix Architecture, an architectural firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, with three other partners. As Director of Design at Phoenix, I am able to express my creativity in architecture and graphics.
I have had an affinity for the arts from a young age, pursuing interests in poetry, writing, painting, music, and architecture. It wasn\'t until traveling Europe in the late 90\'s that photography became a real passion. Experiencing the European cemeteries through the lens of a camera gave a unique view of the juxtaposition of life, death, beauty and sorrow. Photography quickly became my main source of self expression, allowing me to exorcise demons, celebrate love, and find inspiration in everyday objects.
I have won several awards for my work over the years, exhibited at local art shows and had my photography in a few publications. My varied work includes traditional 35mm film, specialty camera shots, digital photography and digitally altered images.
